Will i get charged for talk and text without a data plan on iphone with tmobile?

I want to use an unlocked iphone. I am currently with t-mobile and have unlimited talk and text. Do not have internet or a data plan. I do not want to use a data plan. I have been told i can use the iphone without but wont have internet or mail, which is fine. My concern is, if I use the iphone without the data plan, will t-mobile start charging extra for some reason?

I think you should have a data plan otherwise it will cost you.
